Sadly EA has chosen to let the year slide by without a new Need for Speed title. However, they have announced a new title for mobile platforms called Need for Speed: No Limits.

EA was proud to announce their partnership with rally driver Ken Block after he posted images of his newest ride on Facebook with
images of partner logos. One of those logos, you guessed it, was for Need for Speed: No Limits.

After almost 17 consecutive years of releases (missed 2001), EA hopes this year off will be what the franchise needs to put the series back on track. After the 2005 Need for Speed most wanted, the series started to decline becoming nothing more than mediocre.
